Background

Fitzrovia is an area of central London rich in history, with wide ranging business and public sector services and with an extremely diverse resident population. Fitzrovia is bounded by Euston Road to the North, Gower Street in the East, Oxford Street along the South and Great Portland Street on the West. It is split between the boroughs of Westminster and Camden.

Section 106 funding arising from the development of the University College London Hospital (UCLH) was allocated by the London Borough of Camden to provide a new community centre, which is leased to and managed by Fitzrovia Community Centre.
